Artist's Statement Contd.
I am presently using sewing and craft techniques which, although used commonly by our parents and grandparents generation, have been overlooked by my generation, to produce work which may be perceived by some as ‘craft’. I currently have Arts Council funding to experiment putting these pieces in conventional gallery spaces to observe reaction to these methods of production.
